Reverend Wendell M. Waller is a 1980 graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, where he in majored in Political Science, and a 1983 graduate of the New England School of Law, Boston, Massachusetts, where he received his Juris Doctorate Degree. In addition to his legal studies, Reverend Waller also studied at the Andover Newton Theological School, Andover Newton Centre, Massachusetts.

Reverend Waller has been proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ for almost thirty years. He was licensed to preach in 1978 by Westwood Baptist Church, Richmond, Virginia under the pastorate of Dr. Robert G. Murray. He was ordained in 1985 by the Baptist General Convention of Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. Reverend Waller served as an Associate Minister at Westwood Baptist Church from 1978 until 1980; Youth Minister at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Malden, Massachusetts from 1980 until 1985; as an Associate Minister of Union Baptist Church, Suffolk, Virginia, from 1985 until 1988; and currently, serves as Pastor of Christian Home Baptist Church, Windsor, Virginia, where he has been serving since 1988. Reverend Waller is a member of the Lott Carey Foreign Mission Pastoral Excellence Program and has been involved in mission work in Guyanna, South America, Jamaica, and Zimbabwe, South Africa.

Reverend Waller also serves as chief legal counsel for the Suffolk City School Board, a position he has held since 1997 and has also served as a substitute judge in the general district court for the Fifth Judicial Circuit.

Reverend Waller has also held the following positions: Executive Secretary of the Suffolk Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance, instructor at the Baptist Training Union Congress, President of the Suffolk Bar Association, and Chairman of the Virginia Counsel of School Attorneys. He has been a participant at many workshops and conferences and has received numerous awards.
